Between winds and tides (2 paintings)
A true natural gem of Quebec, the Magdalen Islands captivate visitors with their vast views and diverse landscapes. Local hiking enthusiasts have inaugurated the delicately named Entre vents et marées trails, a 225-km long-distance hiking trail that connects the archipelago's seven main islands.
This long trail offers a walk around the island of Havre-Aubert, the southernmost island in the archipelago. The vastness of the panorama and the beauty of the surrounding landscape are likely to plunge you into a state of profound contemplation, especially if you're walking alone. Once you reach the end of the sandbar, where the sea reclaims its natural habitat, you'll feel as if you've reached the end of the world.
